Is this a raised floor or what, the only text i have is the following:

Having now gone through the complete doc, it appears to be a sort of metal grating, I am not 100% but I think it is that sort of walkway metal flooring withsort of studs on it for non slip - not sure if this has a technical name though?

textured floor/ing

My understanding is that in an analogous way to the meaning of emphasizing something, highlighting it, or making it *stand out*, we talk about a flooring with texture added (as opposed to a flat sheet) as being a piso recalcado.

Take a look at the google image search results for "piso recalcado" and tell me if you don't agree: https://www.google.com/search?q="piso recalcado"

Another similar term is "chapa recalcada": https://www.google.com/search?q="chapa recalcada"

This usage seems related to the metalworking process called "recalcado", but I don't think 'raised' is appropriate, since for that I picture a floor set 3, 6, or 12 inches above a lower layer of floor.
