Portuguese term

ativo imobilizado

Portuguese to English Bus/Financial Law: Contract(s) Articles of Association
"São expressamente vedados, sendo nulos e inoperantes perante a sociedade, os atos de quaisquer dos sócios, administrador, procurador ou empregado que envolverem a Sociedade em obrigações relativas a negócios ou operações estranhas ao objeto social, tais como fianças, avais, endossos ou quaisquer outras garantias em favor de terceiro, alienação ou oneração do ATIVO IMOBILIZADO, salvo quando expressamente deliberado e aprovado por quotistas que representem a totalidade do capital social da sociedade."

I am not sure if they refer to real estate properties or assets which had been subject to other kind of encumbrances 'freezing' them.

Thank you!
Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (2): Mario Freitas, Mark Robertson

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Barbara Villa (asker) Sep 4, 2020:
Sorry for upsetting you so much dear colleagues, I probably typed the term incorrectly when searching on kudoz results, and made the question again unecessarily.
I´ve already made a call to the moderators requesting them to suppress the question, ok?

Good afternoon and thank you for all your time and attention
Mario Freitas Sep 4, 2020:
It's a big problem when we search for a term in the glossary and we have to surf over three pages of the same thing to find what we need. Indeed, not the moderators, but the programmers of the software should add a routine to clean the database by erasing identical entries. And yes, then the moderators should exclude questions like this one.
Douglas Bissell Sep 4, 2020:
I know the moderators can remove questions that have multiple terms, is it not possible to do the same for these stupidly repeated questions. There must obviously be some way that the asker can say his/her term is nuanced and not the same as the other 20 or 30 identical questions so should not be removed.
Mark Robertson Sep 4, 2020:
@Douglas / Mário Apoiado!
Douglas Bissell Sep 4, 2020:
Stop this nonsense of asking the same questions Is there no way to dissuade these people from posting the same questions endlessly? It simply makes it harder for others to find the answer in a swamp of replies
Mario Freitas Sep 4, 2020:
O termo já existe no ProZ 20 vezes Uma simples pesquisa no ProZ dá duas páginas de resultados. É muito mais fácil do que postar uma pergunta que já foi feita 20 vezes antes. https://www.proz.com/term-search-2012
