I think so. "workplace safety instruction" would have done if it weren't followed by "in accordance with the instructions". But "course" can be omitted if you prefer.

Asker: Thank you, Jack! Can we say "course" even if, as I assume, this "course" may be rather short - say half an hour?

Asker: in this case I can translate "в соответствии с инструкцией" as "in accordance with the regulation"

agree  Nicholas Krivenko: That and nothing else: especially no briefings ("indoctrination") is possible, but not as commonly used in the UK as it is in the US and not too commonly there too. This is either "training", "training course", or "training instruction".
