every flap of my wing carries me through the storms further to embrace my flower Explanation: Во фразе, видимо, заключена философская мысль, содержание которой ускользает так же быстро, как и взмах крыла. Может, из восточной мудрости взято, но найти источник не удалось. Мне представляется, что это сравнение человека с птицей или бабочкой, которой необходимо совершать работу "над собой", непрерывно двигая крылышками, чтобы преодолеть погодные препятствия (например, ветер, тучи, дождь, град), чтобы достичь желанного, более безопасного или спокойного места, где можно отдохнуть и набраться сил. Исключительно мое предположение, но я думаю, что и про человека в какой-то мере можно сказать, что с каждым взмахом крыла он достигает вершины или приходит к понимаю чего-то удивительного, прекрасного, как цветок, нежного, волнующего и так далее. Перевод "тучи" словом cloud не отражает, на мой взгляд, того драматического оттенка, который, вероятно, заложен по фразе. Иначе была идея легкого порхания. И еще момент. По-английски идиоматична такая сочетаемость, как flap one's arms (If you flap your arms, you move them quickly up and down AS IF THEY THE WINGS OF A BIRD.) и вполне вписывается в образ "полет птицы" (а не шмеля, который не машет крыльями, хотя эти насекомые очень даже стремятся к цветкам). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1156 days (2013-07-27 02:04:09 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Или, может, без further, но оно задает устремленность к цели в переносном смысле. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1156 days (2013-07-27 02:06:05 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Прошу прощения за некоторые пропуски (as if they were).
