Посылаю снова русский текст (ссылки видны выше): Если нужно точное определение, то это : Difference between n-th and m-th convergents of the continued fraction (where m<n). Либо же - другой вариант - написать: (m,n)th segment of the continued fraction. Посмотрите здесь определение (не могу цитировать формулы): In order to define polynomials, we need to define fragments of continued fractions. ... http://arxiv.org/pdf/math-ph/0310041 www.ams.org/tran/1996-348-09/S0002-9947-96-01662-5/ S0002-9947-96-01662-5.ps |

Фрагмент цепной дроби part of (a) continued fraction Explanation: part of an operator branched continued fraction Самый простой вариант. Кстати, поиск "fragment of the continued fraction" дает ноль. Примеры: from the continued fraction expansion of ? ... a i?1 , 1, a i+1 }, (10) where the partial expansion before a i ... www.maths.ex.ac.uk/~mwatkins/zeta/planat-spooky.pdf from the continued fraction expansion of ... 1 2 = 0 ; 1 2 1 1 +1 (10) where the partial expansion before +1 ... arxiv.org/pdf/quant-ph/0310082 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 14 hrs 33 mins (2004-01-03 12:13:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Дополнение на основании подробностей: и правда, возможны оба варианта. Поскольку я всегда ратую за простоту, то я бы предпочла написать все же part of (a) continued fraction (between terms m+1 and n).
