Employment Law ili Law on Jobs and Employment

Ovako:
Zakon o osnovama radnih odnosa
Zakon = Law
osnova = foundation, basis
or
osnovati = to establish
radnih odnosa = of working relations, drugo receno, employment (biti u radnom odnosu = to be employed)
--all definitions from Morton Benson

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks for the thorough answer. I'll take your answer: The Employment Law or The Employment Act, but since I need to distinguish between two of such laws: 'Zokon o radnim odnosima' and 'Zakon o osnovama radnih odnosa', only the first 'zakon' can be translated as 'the employment law'. For the second, we need to add the word 'foundation' or 'bases' something which I translated (clumsily): 'the Law on the Bases of Employment Relationships'"

Basic Labor Law

Jedno malo \"p\" sam ispustio. Izvinjavam se!

one more comment:

please consider instead of 'the Law on the Bases of Employment Relationships': 'Law on Establishing Work (or Employee) Positions' OR 'Law on Establishing Employee Relations' (in this case, 'relations' is better than 'relationships'). These have different connotations in English--your choice really does depend on the subject of the law or act in question. With "relations' in the title, you imply a broader range of issues.
toliko od mene! sretno!
