Peine: Entretejido o tablado de madera, a manera de parrilla, que en el fondo del teatro, en la parte superior del telar, contiene los cilindros, poleas o garruchas, guindas o cuerdas y otros instrumentos diversos destinados a maniobrar los decorados y otros dispositivos escénicos. También se denomina parrilla o emparrillado.

The correct term for a theatrical "peine" in English is grid or gridiron, also grid deck. Here's question on "contrapeine" (upper grid/gridiron), which I answered, with a lot of references. As I explain there, it's not the flyloft, which is the space above the grid.

Thanks, Robert. All the definitions of contrapeine I found last time and others I've just found now specify that it is above the peine. I think forestage grid would be peine de proscenio, but I'm not sure if there's another term for it.
