Previous Uruguyan question

I would adapt the answer to the USA as 'by Deed of Purchase & Sale' - no ref. to land is needed with a Deed in the US - and by means of delivery of Possession > e.g. of the keys to the property.

Purchase Deed in the UK refers to one of unregistered land only.

Alas, the asker frpm Montevideo had closed the question without grading and did a disservice by keeping the 'answer' to himself.

Thx, Toni. I'm not done for yet. Feel free to repost an 'apt adaptation' - rather than 'adaption' - of either of my answers.
disagree Enrique Soria : there is no such thing as a Deed of Purchase and Sale in the US

There is a Purchase & Sale Agreement though en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purchase_and_Sale_Agreement vs. tradición that doesn't suggest a Deed at all.
