Spanish Science Geography hydrogeology
Estes dos términos aparecen en un informe sobre un modelo hidrogeológico de Chile, en relación a los flujos de agua de distintos pozos. La duda que tengo es si son sinónimos o no; ¿alguién me podría ayudar?

specific outflow / specific yield

I assume that the actual yield is always somewhat less than the outflow due to the imperfect technique of collecting the water; that is, that there is some attrition, and that 100% of the outflow is never captured.
