kredens

Swedish to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature
han är stark han äter
gjutjärn rensam kredens och virvlande faggor när vi spelar
på iliad

Translation of the words faggor and iliad would be appreciated. There is no context, this is like a stream of consciousness.
Proposed translations (English)
1 playing ancient Greek soldiers

But Ekman is better than that, so weaning some meaning from her words should help in recreating her nonsense, I'd suggest, if through a lot of free association. Though as you say the feeling is what's most important.
Anna Herbst Oct 2, 2013:
More nonsense language Don't even try to make sense of this, it would do nothing for the text. After all, what does this really mean? - "Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe"
Rodna Ruskovska (asker) Oct 1, 2013:
Thank you, Joanna! It might...
"Kredens" is a Polish word and means "cupboard". Perhaps it will help somehow...

Swedish term (edited): spela Iliad

playing ancient Greek soldiers

Very difficult text but after research it may be that 'Iliad' refers to the stories of Iliad by Homer

In which case, 'spela Iliad' could mean 'playing ancient Greek Soldiers'

The writer does say the other person is strong
