Hello
I had decided that "plog" is ripples in:
Som vanligt lång tafs och twista in flugan så att den fina ***plogen*** skapas.
But I now have:
Har sett många fiskare få goa bågar även när den körts med sjunklina men oftast blir det flytlina och ***plogkörning***.
So I want to check please. Is there a more specific term for "plog" and "plogkörning"

It just occurred to me that it's possible that the person writing it meant plogfåra, which at least yields a documented reference.
Du kan följa flugans gång ända från början till slutet om ljusförhållandena är de rätta och du använder vit fluga. Därför kan du också uppleva mörka skuggor efter och även plogfåror.

That coincides with furrow(ing).
the rod is held high, with the top dropper 'on the dibble', i.e. furrowing the surface, causing an attractive wake
it simulates the minute furrowing on the surface made by hatching insects [...] adult sedges

In my opinion, it is not entirely similar to dibbling, and it has the advantage that we can say: creating furrows, and furrowing.
For the glossary, I wanted to submit this as second (better) answer, but I believe submitting two answers is against Kudoz rules.
Example sentence:
use a downstream mend to throw a loop that drags the streamer across faster. In the winter you typically need a slow swing, but when the water is warmer and the fish are active streaking the fly across the stream may be the ticket
streaking the fly 10-15cm at a time, creating a small wake behind the fly as you pull
3 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.

Discussion
The only reference I found to plough in this context was how to make an epoxy resin plough shell.
Therefore I thought it was more likely to be a stripping technique than a tying technique.
I think you are right. It means creating a ripple. Making short pulls, in the way you would work a hand plow.
Nevertheless I had no idea how flyfishers would call it, so I tried to describe it. I am fairly certain they're called streak and streaking.
