Government Land occupied by people without any legal documents. People got possession of land since long which actually belongs to Government but government did not get it back, also don't take any legal action against the possession holder. It is called "Shamlot".

Village Common Land


Explanation:
Only word Village Common land is more then enough because in Punjab there is Law for it as well which is called "THE PUNJAB VILLAGE COMMON LANDS (REGULATION) RULES, 1964". So Village common Land is proper legal term for this word.
If you see some authentic Urdu dictionary like Feroz-ul-lughat you will find word شام لات not شام لاٹ so word شام لات is correct one.
