Parlant à contre-jour, soupçonnant, devinant,
Il comble le réel.
Et je soumets le monde dans un miroir noir.
Et j’imagine ma puissance
- Il fallait n’avoir rien commencé, rien fini -
J’efface mon image, je souffle ses halos :
Toutes les illusions de la mémoire,
Tous les rapports ardents du silence et des rêves,
Tous les chemins vivants tous les hasards sensibles.

Comme l’indique la formule de Paul Eluard, « tous les rapports ardents du silence et des rêves » tirée de Défense de savoir, le rêve est susceptible de créer des relations multiples qui ne surgissent pas seulement sur fond de silence mais sont tissés de silence et de nuit. Ces rapprochements extraient de la nuit de l’homme « son sosie ténébreux », une part de lui obscure, inconnue, inexpliquée, peut-être inexplicable. Ainsi, le rêve éluardien nous invite moins à une expérience de l’intime qu’à « rêver en commun » selon le mot d’ordre de Benjamin Péret. Car si l’homme est un « rêveur définitif », Eluard, à l’instar de poètes de sa génération, nourrit la conviction que le rêve ouvre à l’homme un territoire nouveau universel : « miroir noir » ou « clair de terre ».
Nous voudrions ici nous interroger sur la manière dont le rêve redéfinit ce qu’est la poésie.

Com indica el vers de Paul Éluard, «totes les relacions ardents del silenci i dels somnis» extret de Défense de savoir (Prohibit saber), el somni és susceptible de crear relacions múltiples que no sorgeixen només en un fons de silenci sinó que són teixides de silenci i de nit. Aquests acostaments extreuen de la nit de l’home «el seu doble tenebrós», una part d’ell obscura, desconeguda, inexplicada, potser inexplicable. Així, el somni eluardià ens convida no tant a una experiència de la intimitat com a «somiar en comú» segons la consigna de Benjamin Péret. Perquè si l’home és un «somiador definitiu », Éluard, a semblança dels poetes de la seva generació, té la convicció que el somni obre a l’home un territori nou universal: «mirall negre» o «clar de terra ».
Voldríem aquí interrogar-nos sobre la manera com el somni redefineix allò que és la poesia.

Aujourd’hui Doisneau nous laisse en héritage quelques minutes d’éternité figées sur le papier, quelques minutes d’émerveillement et d’émotion par lesquelles il nous conte, image après image, des histoires pleines de poésie et d’humour en nous enchantant par sa capacité à transmettre cette tendre complicité, cette relation implicite et fugace qui l’unit à celui ou celle qu’il photographie. « On ne devrait photographier que lorsque l’on se sent gonflé de générosité pour les autres » a-t-il dit un jour. Au-delà d’une lecture au premier degré, une analyse plus aiguë fait apparaître dans cette œuvre une profondeur, une réflexion qui en modifient ou en enrichissent sans aucun doute le sens immédiat. L’humour est peut-être la clé principale de cette relecture plus attentive. Doisneau possède au plus haut point le sens des situations cocasses, insolites et des décalages subtils qui, au-delà de l’anecdote, par des allusions légères, délivrent une significationdifférente. Force est de constater qu’à l’instar des œuvres d’humoristes, les images que nous offre Robert Doisneau sont en fait souvent plus graves qu’il n’y paraît. « L’existence n’est certes pas gaie, mais il nous reste l’humour, cette espèce de cachette où l’on jugule l’émotion ressentie ». Jacques Tati, Charlie Chaplin, Raymond Devos appartiennent au monde des grands comiques. Avec eux, le rire est assuré mais, derrière leur cocasserie, se dissimulent en réalité une tristesse, une mélancolie douce-amère qui crispent le sourire.

Cabe constatar que a semejanza de las obras humorísticas, las imágenes que nos ofrece Robert Doisneau son a menudo, de hecho, más serias de lo que podrían parecer. « La existencia no es, en efecto, alegre, pero nos queda el humor, esta especie de escondrijo donde retener la emoción que sentimos ». Jacques Tati, Charlie Chaplin, Raymond Devos forman parte del mundo de los grandes cómicos. Con ellos, la risa está asegurada pero tras su jocosidad se esconden, en realidad, una tristeza, una melancolía agridulce que obligan a tensar la sonrisa.

I have always been curious. My mother says I entered the world not with a demonstrative wail, but with an assertive "Why?" From earliest memory, nature, especially animals and more specifically reptiles, fascinated me. The second of four siblings, I was the one who brought home bugs, tadpoles and snakes from the time I could walk. Fortunately few of the snakes in rural Ohio, where I grew up, are venomous and I survived to discover the other wonders of nature.
At sixteen, restless and stiffed by high school, I applied to become an exchange student and escape my final year. My first country of choice was Australia, home of big reptiles, pouched mammals and the elusive egg-laying echidna. I was sent to the country of my second choice, Germany, and remained there a number of years. After a few twists and turns I studied biology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. Under the guidance of Professor Gerhard Heldmaier I discovered the significance of sound biological methodology, the broad horizons of basic biological research and the complexities of dynamic biological interactions.

El segundo de cuatro hermanos, yo era quien traía a casa insectos, renacuajos y serpientes desde el momento mismo en que empecé a caminar. Afortunadamente, no hay muchas serpientes venenosas en la parte rural de Ohio, donde crecí, y sobreviví para descubrir las otras maravillas de la naturaleza.
A los dieciséis, inquieto y aburrido por el instituto, presenté una solicitud para ser estudiante de intercambio y librarme de mi último curso. El país que elegí en primera opción fue Australia, patria de los grandes reptiles, marsupiales y del huidizo equidna ovíparo. Me enviaron al país que había elegido en segunda opción, Alemania, y allí me quedé varios años. Después de unas cuantas idas y venidas, estudié biología en la Universidad Goethe de Frankfurt. Bajo la supervisión del Profesor Gerhard Heldmaier descubrí el significado de la metodología biológica sólida, los amplios horizontes de la investigación biológica básica y las complejidades de las interacciones biológicas dinámicas.
