I was born in the U.S. and lived in Boston,
California, and Tokyo until I entered college. Although my childhood was long
in the U.S., my English and Japanese are at a native level as I attended a
local school as well as a Japanese Saturday school and supplementary tuition
school. I started to focus on translation and interpretation when I was in
college, and have worked as an interpreter for Nippon Television, served as a
translation team leader for the SUGOI JAPAN AWARD held by Nikkei Newspaper in
2017, tutored, translated a book, and learned how to translate "that local
people can relate to". I also have experience in simultaneous interpretation
and have received a repeat. I would like to use this experience to help you
with your interpretation.
