In order to meet the translation needs of our international clients, we are currently looking to expand our database of freelance linguists Details as below:

Translate from English into Simplified Chinese (China) AND
Localize from Simplified Chinese (China) into Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) (English as original source) in the following fields/specialization:
Investment Banking (bond, equity research, market commentary related)


Job Description
In this job, you will collaborate with our Project Managers to work and complete translation projects for the above mentioned subject matters.



Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) Native Speaker
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Traditional Chinese (HK) and Simplified Chinese (China).
Specialized in any of the fields above.
Able to use CAT tools.
Having experience in Machine Translation Post Editing.
Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar.
Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.


Candidates MUST also have any ONE of the following:

A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
2 years of translation experience and a college degree;
5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or
A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.


IMPORTANT NOTE:
Applicants will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete a Translation, an MTPE and a Proofreading test respectively.
