My name is Danièle O'NEILL.
Even though I am French, I spent 8 years in Ireland where I qualified at the Queen's University of Belfast. I obtained the P.G.C.E. for the teaching of fooreign languages.

I graduated at the <10+1>E.S.I.T. in 198410-1>as Technical and Scientific Translator and have been working both as in-house Translator (5 years)) and as Freelance Translator (12 years)in various fields since.
I have been a sworn translator since 1999 and now live in Brittany, in France.

As accredited translator/interpreter, I often translate articles of association for companies, but also all types of legal documents, including judgements and contracts;

I could say I specialize in legal documents of all types, including contracts and articles of association.
In the technical fields, I have worked a lot in casting, shipbuilding, fishing, repair, mechanical engineering, medical manuals and environmental issues.

My experience is quite varied in other technical fields too.
For example, I worked as interpreter for Hyster, a British company specializing in the manufacturing of forklifts.

I also worked for 2 full years as translator and interpreter for a French company specializing in the manufacture of dies for the production of cylinder heads in the automative industry. I was working in the actual plant with French and English and American engineers.

I also worked in the field of telecommunications for 4 years as a salaried translator.

I also translate commercial documents for Irish companies (labels for agricultural products), and user manuals for various types of machines.
