I currently work part- time from home as a Back office agent in Italian and English in an IT company based in Turin.

I consider myself multilingual as I learned French and English at the age of 4 and attended Lycée français until baccalauréat, therefore Italian and French are like mother tongues to me.

I am an experienced English to Italian freelance translator as I work with Wisebits Group. It's been 8 years now.  I gained speed and efficiency through tight deadlines and I further improved my English, especially in the internet technical fields.

I also work with Kwintessential South Africa as a freelance translator from EN to French on various projects including subtitling translations. 

I have a strong academic Background is in the multimedia and cinema fields as I fully graduated at the Turin University in Arts and Cinema.

I recently obtained an artistic Masters degree in the Arts field and completed my academic profile  by successfully passing 3 psycho-pedagogical exams which are mandatory to be able to teach Arts History in the italian High Schools: Psychology of learning - Cultural anthropology – Special Didactics.

on Sunday, I learnt to rapidly edit a huge amount of information in few words while keeping
up to date with important cultural and current news from Africa.Using my voice as a tool in live broadcasting to communicate with a large amount of people
on delicate subjects of my interest is the main goal I achieved. 

Social skills and competences 

I have spent a large part of my childhood in Africa. From the age of 4 until I was 18 I lived in Ethiopia, (1984-1988) Mali (1988-1991) and Burkina Faso (1991-1998) with my family, where myfather was based and operated as International Staff of the United Nations and EU.
I gained abilities to work in a group matured in several situations where the collaboration
between different figures is needed. Skills gained through the various professional and personal experiences listed above.

Technical competences:

Webtranslateit CAT tool for now but looking forward to learn SDL Trados

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office package: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Open Office. Knowledge of Internet, Windows OS and Mac Proficient
User of Maximo, Remedy ticketing system; Lotus Notes, Outlook mailing systems.
Citrix and SAP and AS400 system for account management.

Organisational skills and competences:

I tested my patience and gained satisfaction by helping users to resolve their problems.
Organizational and management skills gained through my experience as Focal Point training
and leading a team of 10 agents in a multicultural environment.
This work made me efficient in teamwork, in communicating between several groups and
engaging people from different cultures.
Switching between several roles made me adaptable and fast in learning.

Artistic skills and competences:   

I was driven by passion for the 7th art while choosing my main field of studies,
I'm also driven by music, photography, drawing, painting, and writing.

Overall, I am an empathetic and nurturing person. An ENFP.

I am open minded and eager to dig into new fields of my interests by searching for the best suited term and word in a translation. 

I have a broad field of interests but my favourite things are Yoga and trekking (those are some of my constant hobbies) I have a passion for history (prehistoric  field and archeology above all).

I am extremely curious about learning about different cultures and always want to know more about their history, background, way of living, arts and culinary culture. 

I am definitely eager to transform my part time translation job into a full time professional occupation by offering the best EN> ITA and EN> FR translations editing by welcoming  new customers, if possible on a regular and stable basis,  by creating a mutual  trusting business relationships.
