Hi! I'm Kimberlee. I'm originally from Salt Lake City in the United States. After marrying an Argentine, I moved to Buenos Aires in 1995 and started teaching English with private students and businesses until I started my own company, Small World Language Services (see full company description on profile).

My love and curiosity for languages has grown, and my fascination for languages and culture has also taken a new turn recently. I'm completely bilingual (Spanish and English) and am actively studying Portuguese (Brazilian) in my attempt to become fluent in that language too.

As my company adds newer languages, my passion for languages and cultures grows. I have developed a deep love for people in the Americas (from North to South America and Europe and everywhere in between) as well as other areas of the world such as the Middle East. I have developed extremely meaningful relationships with people in these areas, and of course I'd love to understand the languages spoken there and be able to be an educated tourist when I travel there to visit my friends and colleagues.

To balance my personal life with my professional one, my focus is on family, religious beliefs and music, all of which are intimately entwined in each other. My newest project is directing a small choir that combines sacred music with classical and popular music. I sing, play the piano and flute and would love to have more time to discover what I should have been in the first place (a performing artist). Yes folks, the truth is out - Kimberlee is a frustrated artist, but I'm doing what I can in a country with limited resources - I'm giving back what I know to people who haven't had as many opportunities as I have - giving them wings to be able to be artists themselves, by creating beautiful music...

I'm interested in creating partnerships (both professional and personal ones) with people who share the same interests as I do - languages, music, cultures, beliefs and travel. I do not tolerate discrimination or stereotypes - and no, I'm not a typical American, for I have chosen to follow the path less traveled...
