Talking of boiler companies, which we weren't, there is one in the UK which is "responsible for the manufacture of the highly acclaimed Worcester boiler range".
And, just to get vaguely back on topic, they don't specifically mention any subcontracting, as far as I can see. But they do manufacture the iconic "Bottom Outlet Bunded Oil Storage Tank", so it seems they are happy with bottom-... See more ... not sure about that last one, right over my head. Unless it's a little naughty.
