First of all I would like to thank you Henri and all the team of ProZ for the fantastic conference on 30 September and congratulations to all of you, fellow translators in our day.

The Digital Object Identifier (DOI®) System is for identifying content objects in the digital environment. DOI® names are assigned to any entity for use on digital networks. They are used to provide current information, including where they (or information about them) can be found on the Internet. Information about a digital object may change over time, including where to find it, but its DOI name will not change

I have just known the existence of DOI. Apparently it should be something like ISBN for physical books.
I would be very interested in knowing your opinion.

For translators it could be very interesting to be able of searching different versions of the same DOI in different languages. ▲ Collapse
