Hi everyone!
I'm a new user of OmegaT after more than 10 years of using Trados. I'm trying out OmegaT for my employer, and one of the functions it has to have is translating idml files. I've read that installed the Okapi plugin will do that for me.
I downloaded the plugin, copied the .jar file into the plugins folder, restarted OmegaT and expected the Okapi filters to appear in the file filter list, but they did not. Nor was I able to add and idml file to an existing project.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I have the lasted version of OmegaT and the latest version of Okapi, AFAIK. I'm also working on a Mac for the first time in my life, which may be part of the issue.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! ▲ Collapse

Right, I did not see the OkapiTools file filters in the list. I did download exactly that zip file and repeatedly tried to install it.
I finally managed to get it going, here's how:
In the Okapi instructions, I was told to copy the *.jar file into Okapi>Contents>Plugins. This had no apparent effect. I tried copying it into Okapi>Contents>Java>Plugins instead, and it worked! ▲ Collapse
