Did they ever offer different programs than CAT-Tools within proz.com's TGB?

Yes, there is an ongoing group buy for DNS. Speech recognition programs can be useful for translators, so Drew organized a group buy. I suppose ProZ.com's staff will consider any ideas about tools that might be useful for language service providers, so if you have one, feel free to propose it. Nonetheless it should be somehow translation or interpretation related - after all, that is the scope of the whole website.
