Several new features are now available to Proz.com members.



Under CAT tool center, you can compare two CAT tools (CAT Fight), comment on each invididual feature or enter your rating on each feature. The compare page also diplays vendor comments on each tool feature and all the comments from other users.



Another new addition is the ability to rate any listed CAT tool based on tool features (Rate a Tool). This new additino is also tied with the CAT Fight ... See more

There is still no link to OmegaT in the CAT centre. Any chance of this being added? The home page is at:

OmegaT has been added to the list of CAT tools to compare and rate in the CAT tool center.



The link to JCAT has been corrected.

What about Wordfast Jan 12, 2003

Wordfast is another tool that seems to have been omitted from the new CAT centre.



Available from

http://www.champollion.net the commercial version 4.xx is now pretty robust, including on the Mac platform.



With the number of features it offers, it would be a serious contender in the CAT fight if included - so I hope you\'ll be adding it soon -

DJV against Trados Feb 16, 2003

I wonder what is the use of buying DJV, as all the agencies ask for Trados,

Is that the reason why DJV is discounted?

And at the same time, I know, for translators, DJV is better...
