: Usually said 'Gala Performance' this is only used if the show is just performed one time as a special event, so take care with its use

Thanks, Wenjer. IMHO the event itself in most cases would be called a performance gala, or gala celebration. It would be referred to as a gala performance in critics'commentaries.
