Oops - didn't have my thinking cap on. I think this definitely refers to a nuclear membrane - a membrane surrounding the nucleus of a cell.

Definitely nuclear membrane, as this refers to eukaryotic cells, as does the original phrase you entered in Portuguese :)

neutral isarcat : Sorry cellular sheathing is NOT appropriate for the nucleus. The nucleus is INSIDE the cell, it has no cellular sheathing. ANSR. I didn't see it, but neither did I post a disagree

Sorry, perhaps you should read the addenda to me entry before disagreeing. I am aware that the correct answer is nuclear membrane
agree Muriel Vasconcellos : OK for "nuclear membrane." What I usually do in a situation like that is hide my first answer and put up a new one. You're not supposed to do that very often, but it keeps the slate clean.
