"Hágalo usted mismo" is a good translation. I only need to add that, in the case of DIY shops, it is also called "bricolaje".

Good luck,

Hágalo Ud. mismo

Generally, you can use: "Hágalo Ud. mismo" (polite form) or "Hazlo tu mismo"

Depending on the context, you may say "bricolaje", too. It is used, for example, for "Sección de bricolaje" (Do it yourself section) in a department store.

Bricolaje

Shops, TV programmes, books are called 'tindas/programas/libros de bricolaje' meaning, do-it-yourself, i.e. diy. Spanish is an elegant language and doesn't tolerate literal translations of this kind, even if they are made!

bricolage OR bricolaje

I also agree with ailish, with one further suggestion, that it seems it most commonly spelled with a 'g', though it's also used with a 'j'.

A quick check at altavista.com rendered over 5,000 pages for the 'bricolage' spelling and only over 2,000 for 'bricolaje'. Go figure!

Careful

Although bricolaje seems to be the suggested term, be aware that it is used most frequently in Spain, while Mexico, for example, uses the more popular "hágalo usted mismo".
