London - Die 34-Jährige wurde mit sechs Wochen Haft bestraft und darf nach dem Urteil des Gerichts in der ostenglischen Stadt Norwich außerdem nie wieder Tiere halten, berichtet die Zeitung "Daily Mail". Die dreifache Mutter hatte "Fluffy" vor den Augen ihrer Töchter erst in die Waschmaschine und nach ihrem qualvollen Tod in den Müll geworfen. "Die Katze hat mich gekratzt, deswegen habe ich sie in die Waschmaschine gesteckt", hatte sie ihrem Ex-Mann erzählt, der das Verfahren ins Rollen brachte.

agree Armorel Young : perhaps "who reported her behaviour". He may have reported her to the RSPCA, which would make "initiated proceedings" rather over-legal, although it's otherwise a good term
