Polish term
Z up. Wojta
Polish to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
This is on the stamp of someone in authority (maybe Local Governer?). What does the abbreviation mean? What does the whole thing mean?

On behalf of Wojt
I suggest not to translate Wojt (it is a self-government leader in a rural gmina)

on behalf of Voit/Head of gmina/municipality/commune
whoah...first things first:
z up. = on behalf of/ authorized by (stands for: z upoważnienia)
Wójt - this is problematic, since different institutions promote different solutions, e.g. TEPIS provides Voit (see: http://www.tepis.org.pl/biuletyn/41/sam_anglia.htm), whereas others prefer head of gmina/municipality/commune. In fact, wójt IS the head of gmina. Select the option that suits you best. Good luck;))

: no one will understand this, voit is incomprehensible without specifying right away what it is ( a commune/community leader)

Z upoważnienia wójta
W słowniku PWN wójt jest przetłumaczony jako borough leader, ale nie wydaje mi się aby to było odpowiednie tłumaczenie, więc moze lepiej zostać przy wójcie?

if translated for US you could also say: per pro township administrator/executive and if fact everyone will have a pretty good idea what you mean

: pro commune head/administrator is not clear. do you mean "deputy"?

maybe unclear, but it seemed to work before... http://www.proz.com/kudoz/1053364 and no, I do not mean "deputy" because deputy is: [`depjutI] zastępca, zastępstwo, deputowany, per pro (pp)= z upowaznienia
