Table 2 summarizes the values of the stress # in a plate with two collinear and two parallel cracks.
I suspect that this sentence is incorrect, because what it is supposed to mean is that the tabulated results have been calculated for two cases: (i) a plate with collinear cracks and (ii) the same plate with parallel cracks.
Dear native speakers, please help me to rephrase (if necessary) this sentence so that it would be clear that the plate had two cracks rather than four
