The first time anyway. After that, I'd follow Tim's suggestion of sticking with the romaji version. Funny things happen to katakana imports.
Note: No space before the opening parenthesis (or bad J-E translations).
The second reference suggests that the P stands for sintered polyethylene, but a quick gander failed to find the manufacturer(s).
Google found various permutations: P-TEX, p-tex, P/TEX, etc.
