Spanish term

No circule al bies en una pendiente

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering
These are the instructions for a forklift truck on a safety regulations form and I don't understand what bies means. Does it simple mean the edge of a hill?
Many thanks to anyone who can help.

Do not drive diagonally on an incline

al bies = en sesgo / en diagonal
This is on the bias (too literal) or on a slant (ok but informal for a sign and can get confused with the slant of the slope - if you see what I mean!)

Or 'at an angle to an incline'

Gracias
agree bigedsenior : Yes, I would say 'across'. Forklifts have a high center of gravity and could tip over.
