Japanese term

10分の1秒単位まで

Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Telecom(munications)
In the context of
内部時計から10分の1秒単位まで取得可能な場合,最後の2桁は「00」などでパディングすること。
how do you translate "10分の1秒単位まで"?
I would translated it as by the unit of 1 tenth second, but it seems "まで" has not been translated.

if the internal clock is only accurate to tenths of a second, pad the readings to two decimal places

Nowhere do I use 直訳調 "unit."

Self-explanatory.

8 hrs

to the millisecond, to the 1/10 second

the word "単位" is taken care of by the use of "the" as in "sold by the dozen".

If xxx can obtain the time to the .10 sec from the internal clock, then the last .............

OOOOOOOOOps, sorry, cannot be millisecond. that's way too small. (1/1000 second) So, the candidate is

"to the 1/10 second"

only. ignore "to the millisecond.

I'd better go back to school....
