From instructions for erecting a party tent. I don't understand what "schräg Spitze" means, and it doesn't help that the author forgot the first parenthesis - should it be inserted before "schräg" or before "Spitze"? This is a PDF file and there are diagrams. The diagram for this instruction shows a hook-shaped peg with a tensioning rope attached to it. The peg seems to be at a roughly 45° angle. So it obviously has something to do with driving in the peg at an angle, but I'm just not quite sure what the correct wording should be. TIA for your assistance.

I think the parenthesis should go before "Spitze", as it seems to me a clarification for "den Nagel schraeg einschlagen". Although my suggestion is rather long-winded, it reproduces the specific instructions given in the source language.

The question here is what is pointing where - I think the sharp point of the peg should be pointing towards the centre of the tent, whereas the hooked end should be pointing away from the tent, otherwise the peg would be pulled out again if the tent pulls at it, e.g. in a wind.
