"Part of our philosophy is to tap into underserved geographic market and actively participate in the region's venture and entrepreneurial communities.
My translation:
我们的一个哲学理由念就是，深入有待开发的地理市场，积极参与该地区的风险投资和创业者社区的活动。
Please help! I tried very hard to make this phrase fit into the sentence, but it does not seem working. Any suggestions?

后面的Participate in ... communities我看着不舒服，没有仔细查字典，但是我的印象是，Particite in 的主要意思是take part in即参与的意思，而不是这里所用的join的意思。You can join communities, join a group of people, or join us. But you cannot participate in us. Participate in 后面跟的应该是一项活动，而不是人或社区。
所以我觉得直接译成“参与该地区的风险投资和创业活动”更好一些，读起来也顺一些。
