junction box Explanation: It's hard to say exactly what this 'sentral' is, but I'm fairly certain (sorry, Björnar) that switchboard is not it. Switchboard (PBX, PABX) might have been a good choice if the source term were 'telefonsentral', and even then it would be uncertain whether this was in reference to the operator console, typically manned by an operator, or the actual switching room. In the first case, marking the component with distribution/circuit number would be meaningless; in the second case, NOT marking not just the component, but every dang connection appropriately, would be ludicrous. In lieu of a precise answer, junction box should serve just fine. |
