Many visitors to wineries may be on vacation with little liklihood of short- term repeat visits. However, benefit to the winery may derive from visitors seeking out the winery’s wine when they get back home, and through word-of-mouth(WOM) referral. Indeed, high levels of service can encourage the developement of relationship marketing strategies as currently interpreted(e.g through the use of mailing lists and targeted incentives), as well as a relationship to the brand in a more traditional sense.
