rubbahyde na ribete
this is the best I can come up with. There's no description of rubbahyde, except that it is of rubber

ribeteng gawa sa gamosa
We commonly know leather as the shiny material used to make shoes. That is one side of the leather. However, the other side of leather skin, known as rubbahyde, is of velvety texture and not shiny. THis is normally used for flat, walking shoes we locally know in the Philippines as "gamosa".
