I am not aware of an English term to translate this with one word. What "Kaufsgrundstück" means is, however, quite clear, I believe.

If you a have a chart of HTML codes, substitute "ampersand + hash" (& + #) with "Alt + 0", e.g., ü is Alt + 0252, í in Slovak is Alt + 0137, á in Spanish is Alt + 0225 etc.

: Very useful, Robin. One question though: modern computers, no matter whether a PC or a MAC, have fonts in every language imaginable. Why not simply install and switch the keyboard to the language in question? Or am I missing something?
