German term

über Grundbesitz verfügen

German to English Law/Patents Finance (general) contract of assignment
For context: First there is the statement: "Die Gesellschaft X überträgt hiermit den Teilgeschäftsanteil (partial share) X in Höhe von X an die Gesellschaft X und tritt ihn an die dies annehmende Gesellschaft ab."
Then later, "Weder die Gesellschaft noch ihre etwaigen Tochtergesellschaften ***verfügen über Grundbesitz***"

I cannot find a good definition for Grundbesitz in this context.
Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (2): writeaway, hazmatgerman (X)

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

have real property at their disposal

According to my Real Estate Dictionary

REAL PROPERTY - Land and all the things that are attached to it. Anything that is not real property is personal property and personal property is anything that isn't nailed down, dug into or built onto the land. A house is real property, but a dining room set is not.

agree Johanna Timm, PhD : given the specific context, I think this a very good option, as well

agree writeaway : imo it's a more accurate translation of "verfügen über" and in the actual sentence it says they do NOT
50 mins
agree Ulrike Kraemer : agree with writeaway that "have" is safer than "own" in this context

agree hazmatgerman (X) : Mit den Vorrednern.

neutral writeaway : does verfügen über really mean "own"?/personally I think the word "have" is safer here. Avoid having to 'interpret' the meaning while it translates the sentence accurately anyway.

agree Eike Katharina Adari-von Kleist (X) : because this is what the German phrase means

Yes, the meaning is clear – no need for using a vague term.
