Yuki Okadaさんのおっしゃるとおり、これは「相対」に対する「絶対」ではないと思います。 小さな差であれば、見逃す、無視する、否定する、ということが可能ですが、絶対差は、誰もこれを見逃し、無視、否定することが出来ません。 つまり、明白な、有無をいわせない、歴然たる差のことをいっているのだと思います。

unsurpassable difference
ついつい科学技術等で言う相対に対する絶対みたいに思いがちですが、ここは疑問を持たれたとおりそうではなくて、超えることの出来ないぐらい大きな違い、と言う意味だと思います。
具体的に何を比べているかによっては「差」の部分は必ずしもこの一語の訳語をあてる必要も無いでしょう。例えばプロとアマとか。

complete disparity
Although "absolute" is closer to the Japanese 絶対 I feel like "complete" might associate better with 差 in English, and also convey the idea better.
I also feel that "disparity" rather than "difference" would be used in a litterary text. "Extreme" might be a solution, too.

I also thought about "gap" which fits the idea of 差 well, but probably influenced by my native language, I think a literary text deserves a more elegant vocabulary... I'll let native speakers of English decide!

その「続けること」も意識をもって続けるのか、無意識に続けるのかでは結果が全く違います。
それと命令されたからやるのと、自分から進んでやるのでも結果が全く違います。
リーダーはどのようにして、意識して仕事をやってもらうのか？
また、どのようにして、自分から進んで訓練をやるように仕向けるかが、リーダーの仕事です。
場合によっては命令してやらせることも必要ですし、また、懇々と説得して教えてからやらせることも必要です。
「人を見て、法を説け」とも言います。
相手が小学生なのか、大学生なのか、それともその道のプロなのかでも、教え方が違います。
しかし、その教える基本は
「微差、僅差の積み重ねが大差となる」ことを教えなければ、やり続けることが出来ないのです。

: This text sounds like one of moral teachings. Then "disparity" sounds too mathematical. "a huge gap" may be sufficient.
