German term

Kundenbindungsprogramme

German to English Marketing Advertising / Public Relations
This is in a list of services on a marketing and events organisation company's website.
They have *Kundenbindungsprogramme* next to Incentives. Do you know the proper English term for this?
this is what it looks like:

Team Building Events, Creative Workshops

Supporting Program, Excursions, Group Travel

*Kundenbindungsprogramme* and Incentives

DMC Services

Thanks for helping out.

Loyalty programs may include all sorts of incentives.

See here for example:

“Maintaining Customer Relationships
with Customer Loyalty Programs

Strong customer relationships are the long-term goal of every small business. Maintaining those relationships requires no small amount of effort and creativity. In recent years, small business owners have turned to customer loyalty programs to help them with this task.

[…] They can range from simply mailing faithful customers coupons for freebies to organizing a day-long golf outing for a handful of your most loyal clients.”

Hmm. The Wiki article implies it is a term used for these cards/points systems. This company creates promotional or marketing events, i.e. a special evening at the circus to entice or reward clients..

agree Paul Cohen : Yup. But I wouldn't necessarily put it all in caps. Surely they are not the mother of all customer loyalty programs.

Danke, Lonnie.
neutral Stephen Gobin : There is a difference in marketing between what is meant by "loyalty" and "retention". Some marketing experts maintain that loyalty cannot be marketed because loyalty is a feeling exhibited by the customer.

Well, this feeling is the aim (not sure if the evening at the circus will work though…). Thanks, Stephen.

KudoZ glossary

http://www.proz.com/?sp=ksearch Jana, there are already ten entries for Kundenbindung in the glossary. It would be helpful if you checked the glossary first and then let us know why you're still having problems.

Thank you Kim. But I tried to find it under Business General, and under Advertising/Marketing, and then I gave up.
