This acronym appears in a French death/invalidity insurance certificate:

I think that what this refers to are the various levels of salary tranches that are all factored in to what benefits are received on death or invalidity: if you look at any French collective wage agreement, you will see things like 250% TA or 350% T1(I) pop up quite a lot...

If you do a search for "TGI" (tribunal de grande instance"), "TI" and TA", you will often find these three terms together. TI and TA roughly mean "Court of First Instance" and "District Court".
However, I have no idea whether they are really relevant to this context, hence the low confidence level.

: it is possible for divorce proceedings. if it's insurance-speak, have no idea. but imo, TA is tribunal administratif /am having a good day. saw Stéphanie's ref after I posted. anyway, it remains IF it's a legal abbreviation

Yes, I remembered on seeing Stéphanie's post that "tribunal d'arrondissement" is not relevant to France (I think I've come across it in Luxembourg French)
