udvendig tætning It doesn't really mean that the sealing is on the outside, but that the sealing protects against whatever the machine may encounter in the field (the place where the grinder will be used) and if the grinding is done near other machines etc or in an outside environment (but usually not actually in a field/paddock).

Jande's svar kan sagtens være rigtigt, selvom det ikke er en direkte oversættelse. Har du også spurgt kunden om dette, og specielt hvad 'field' er netop her?

Tak for dit svar, det kan nemt være, at det sidste udtryk er en variant af det første, men hvis "field" kan oversættes i retning af udendørs, kunne udtrykket så måske oversættes med "udvendig tætning"? Eller er det for langt ude?

It can be when you translate the terms that you translate the two different terms to the same in Danish (It sometimes happens). I have in such a case left out the second term i.e. left out the term qualifying the original term, if it is not necessary to qualify the term in Danish.
