French term

attributions de l'Entrepreneur pour les surcharges...

French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
This phrase comes at the end of an extremely long sentence listing all of the Contractor's responsibilities for a large building project.

Since "attributions" is a bit of an ambiguous word, I'm not sure whether in this case it refers to his responsibilities/obligations (e.g. money he is liable to pay) or money paid TO him. I'd appreciate your thoughts on the best wording of this phrase.

This section of the contract is entitled: "Contenu du Prix Contractuel" and reads:

Sous réserve des dispositions du Contrat, le montant du Contrat doit inclure entre autres tous paiements de salaires, paies, heures supplémentaires, primes ... (extensive list of nearly 100 other responsibilities) ... les travaux temporaires, et toute autre chose de quelque nature que ce soit jugée nécessaire aux travaux ainsi que les dépenses financières ou charges de quelque nature que ce soit et les attributions de l'Entrepreneur pour les surcharges et profits.

Costing

I think here it stands for "costing" as in allocating a reserve

Hi there ... sorry for the delay, but your comment went into my spam box.
I'd say: "the contractor's costing (or estimate) of surcharges and profits..."
Note from asker:
Hi Rachel. Thanks for the idea. How would you use this in the context of this sentence?..."and costing to the Contractor for X and Y"? I've never heard this use of costing so would appreciate some ideas on how to use it in both a generic sentence and in this sentence. Thanks!

Contractor's remit for surcharges...

I think this refers to the Contractor's responsibilities, but I've rated this "low," since I'm not sure either.
