Actually that's exactly the problem, I thought it was about warning, but the main function is actually to keep the information of ships arrival and departure up-to-date and just one of the functions is to warn, but usually is used as an intermediary to establish a contact between the ship and the maritime police... many thanks for your help Gallagy2, and I appreciate other opinions.

not port informer, sounds like google translate to me! Possibly port information services but these "avvisatore" are "warnings" or "alarms" NOT advice/information so I would keep to my translation

Port Informer A friend of mine found "Por Informer" to translate "Avvisatore di Porto" so the translation of the entire title should be:
REGULATIONS FOR THE PORT INFORMER SERVICE IN THE PORT OF GENOA
Anyone knows if is the official term right?
