Hello everyone, I'm translating an interview with someone who is listing the required skills to become a business trainer, and I am having problems finding the correct tranlsation of "restitution du support". Here is the sentence:

"Le consultant retenu bénéficiera d’une période de préparation sur les formations du client, suivie d’une évaluation interne sur le contenu, la forme et la restitution du support"

Would you say "demonstration of course material?"

similar context Yes, I've had it crop up in some very weird contexts: similar to this, I seem to remember, and also used to mean "feedback" or "reporting".

@ Philippa That sounds like a reasonable solution, considering how odd "restitution" sounds in this sentence. Has anyone else heard of this word being used in a similar context?

@Kelly If you're going to go with the "presentation" idea (which does seem like a feasible solution), why don't you use it along the lines of "internal assessment of course material content, type and presentation"?

Presentation would make sense As an ESL trainer, I prepare the lesson content and type and I plan how to teach it. This could be "restitution", I suppose, though I don't think I've ever heard it referred to as that.

I'm thinking maybe it refers to how the course material looks, how it is presented, and so cc's suggestion of "presentation" could work well.

support I agree here that "support" may refer to the course material, and since the context refers to initial training before becoming qualified (next sentence in the text, which includes feedback from the client) I assume that the employer wants to see if the candidate can use the material correctly...?

support usually refers to the (physical) course material; I don't quite know who is 'réstituant' it to whom, and that information may be cruscal in your choise of verb here.

It does seem a bit odd, though.
