French term

Procédure de dédouanement simplifiées de placement

French to English Bus/Financial Transport / Transportation / Shipping
This is from a PPT presentation promoting an overseas shipping and logistics solution.

They have a list of customs warehousing solutions which are as follows:

- Autorisation
- Mise en place d’une garantie
Tenue d’une comptabilité matières
- Durée du séjour des marchandises illimité
- Procédure normale de placement (Document administratif unique DAU)
- Procédure de dédouanement simplifiées de placement

I'm not sure what they mean by the last item on the list.

Thanks!

My mention of "Apurement" was in relation to your "case no. 14" item where it appears.
Nikki Scott-Despaigne Dec 26, 2011:
@ Asker What term have you used for "placement" in the line above?
Nikki Scott-Despaigne Dec 26, 2011:
Idem, although looking at "Case n° 14" here provides a clue :

http://www.douane.gouv.fr/data/file/5290.pdf

and here :

http://www.douane.gouv.fr/page.asp?id=3993

Among which is a two-stage procedure but it is plural as there are several simplified procedures.

My first instinct... would be to ask the client to confirm this item. If only because there is a grammatical inconsistency (what does the plural "simplifiées" refer to?)

Simplified clearance and placement procedure

dedouanement and apurement are synonymous, the both mean clearance.

agree Nikki Scott-Despaigne : A neater version. Not sure why you mention 'apurement' though as the asker makes no mention of it.
