Selbstdispensation durch die Eltern
Aufgrund der Kantonalen Schulverordnung (Art. 25) hat der Schulrat für alle Stufen der Gemeindeschule Flüelen die Selbstdispensation durch die Eltern eingeführt. Dadurch erhalten Eltern die Möglichkeit, ihr Kind bis zu vier Schulhalbtage pro Schuljahr in eigener Kompetenz vom Schulunterricht zu dispensieren.

There is also the snappy Latin form 'exeat' (plural 'exeats'):

at parental discretion
Parents may absent their child from school for a limited number of half-days at their own discretion (see 'Selbstdispensationen'). In such cases, we must be informed well in advance of the relevant dates and the reason.

The point being that the circumstances are not vetted and *no authorisation* is required.
