spoiler (lower front) / belly pan

A "sabot" is the a separate part of a motorcycle fairing, more precisely the lower front part of it, located directly behind the front wheel and under the lower and most forward part of the engine.

This part of the fairing is usually called "spoiler" as other parts. So it can be called "lower spoiler" or "low front spoiler."

It is also often called "belly pan".
Example sentence:

The lower front spoiler of this bike hides its battery.

This naked bike sports an aggressive belly pan.

SHOE or PAD

Like a BRAKE SHOE or BRAKE PAD

May also be a PLATE: http://www.granddictionnaire.com/BTML/FRA/r_Motclef/index102...
Peer comment(s):

neutral Tony M : Seems unlikely from the admittedly slim context given.

disagree Pedro Godfroid : A brake pad is a "plaquette de frein" and a brake shoe is a "garniture de frein"

base-plate

Hard to be sure with so little context to work with; do you have any form of picture or drawing that might help?

'sabot' can be so many things, the exact translation depends so much on both the form and the function oif the specific item.

For example, on my hair clippers, the 'sabots' are the 'combs'! While on my sewing machine, it is the 'foot'... and so on...

And as we've also had before on KudoZ, it can also be a 'floor-mounting contact block'!

Could indeed well be — but there might be a more specific name for it in this particualr context, so beware!
Note from asker:
Sounds like a plan judging from Google images
What's wrong with base plate? It's between the engine and the street.
