Swedish term
(fastighetsmäklar)uppdrag
Swedish to English
Marketing
Real Estate
In the US, the term "real estate listing" also refers to the entire agreement between a real estate broker and the owner of a property, as well as any work performed in the brokering process. In Swedish, this is an uppdrag. Normally, I would translate it as commission, but of course, this would not work here because a brokerage commission refers to the percentage of the sales price paid to the broker once a deal has been struck or consummated, as the case may be.

(real estate broker) appointment
We used "appointment" all the time in the insurance industry for this. There's support for this in the real estate field at the link.

Thanks, very helpful to get the British version as well.

estate agency's instruction
Trouble is, this is probably more UK English. Over here, you instruct an estate agent to advertise your property and said "instruction" also covers the work pertaining to that advert.

(real)estate agent's mandate
I thought that I had got this expression from French but when I checked, it 'googles' well
